The Open Smart Grid Platform sat down with several Smart Energy startups (EGeo, Sympower, and Geolumen) of the Rockstart accelerator program. During this expert session the startups learned how the platforms functions. Furthermore, we discussed how to integrate their solutions on the Open Smart Grid Platform. The startups have solutions in common that speed-up the energy supply and demand chain to a more sustainable one. Most of them require a software solution for their devices or applications to work. The Open Smart Grid Platform is looking forward to help these, and other Rockstart startups with a sustainable and profitable service or product.
Smart Society Services represented The Open Smart Grid Platform during European Utility Week (#EUW15) in Vienna. Visitors learned more about our open, generic, independent and scalable Smart Utility Services and the Open Smart Grid Platform.
Platform31 is a knowledge and networking organization for city and urban development. Platform 31 is an European Commission partner in the FP7 and Horizon2020 projects. Platform31 is working on topics such as Smart Cities and the Civic Economy.
For their Online Platform Smart Cities, Platform 31 published a blog about Smart Public Lighting update today. For this update, Smart Society Services has been interviewed about their Public Lighting Service (FlexOVL). This service will be deployed in approx. 1/3 of the Netherlands.
FlexOVL is using the Open Smart Grid Platform as its communication platform
