The Linux foundation accounted the a new name for the Open Smart Grid Platform: Grid eXchange Fabric (GXF). More information can be found on their announcement. The name change is are result of joining LFenergy. Joining LFenergy is an new milestone in a more mature project with overseen by a well known foundation.
